Various Things

Tue Jan 6, 2009, 4:34 PM
  • Mood: Stunned
  • Listening to: Is It? - The Mighty Mighty Bosstones
  • Reading: Queen's Biography
  • Playing: XII and Morrowind (way too much)
  • Eating: Cheese
  • Drinking: Orange Juice
Ok So it's 00:15, I should be revising for rapidly approaching exams (2/3 days away). But I'm not lol. I am grinding questions to get my exam skill up (and i really need to give morrowind a rest...)

However I have some good news:

- Having just started a new photogaphy unit at college, I am brimming with ideas and shall be forced to take more photos which will give my gallery a much-needed boost.

- This also gives an oppurtunity to do some studioesque work which I have been aching to do for a while.

- I got a telescopic lens for christmas which shall be of use both for animal photograpy and portrait stuff (for forthcoming project)

- I am hopefully getting a job soon, which while cutting into time etc. will mean that I have money so I can get some more lenses filters etc.

A quick question:
When buying photography magazines, would people recomend buying one dedicated to a specific brand of camera equipment etc. or a more general one?

The way I see it, I have one brand of stuff (canon) and I am unlikely to change, so I may as well get the one thats tailored to these needs...?

Thanks To:

:iconelmfuzz:~elmfuzz For agreeing to help with the upcoming project :lol:

:iconnattienatcat:=Nattienatcat for 53 faves... Thank You :D
